Kanika Goyal IAS Topper has completed her 12th examinations from Hindu Girls Senior Secondary School, Kaithal where she developed a strong primary  academic foundation. She took Humanities in 12th examination  fully intent on showing up for Common Administrations. She scored 96.4% in the 12th.

Kanika Goyal pursued a graduation degree from a famous college such as Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. Kanika Goyal IAS Topper is a commitment to excellence and she graduated with B.A Honors in Political science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.

Kanika Goyal IAS officer was always a bright and scholar student and was usually among the toppers in her class from childhood and by the time she completed high school in New Delhi, Kanika had decided to pursue civil services as her career. Later, Kanika completed her higher education that is graduation in Polity at a University in Delhi from Lady Shri Ram College. Then, it was time for her to appear for UPSC exams in 2022. When she was in Class 7, Kanika Goyal decided to prepare for UPSC CSE and become IAS. And throughout her journey of 10(ten) years, supported by her parents(Father and Mother).

Kanika Goyal also stated in the interview that she did not evaluate or cross-checked answers and marks after the exam as she said that she was fairly confident that she would crack it by a good percentage. That source was the teachers and books that she received from her UPSC Professors. Moreover, she even recommended the other aspirants read the notes and books given to them by their professors very closely and throughout the interview. 

“In my maiden attempt, I qualified the prelims but scored fewer marks in UPSC mains optional subject which was also my graduation subject. This came as a setback as I was expecting to do better considering I graduated in the same year. Hence in 2022, I laid more emphasis on optional through and I am hoping I did well,” Kanika said during the interview.

During her first attempt at UPSC CSE 2021, she made it till the interview round but couldn’t qualify in the interview round.  Kanika Goyal has opted for a more focused schedule which detailed the time allocated for various activities like eating, sleeping, studying and other tasks, giving equal importance to health as well so that that would not come between her success and dream of becoming IAS Officer. 

In an exclusive interview after cracking UPSC CSE 2022, Kanika Goyal IAS officer also stated that this was her second attempt at UPSC and Kanika Goyal was confident enough to crack it in second attempt.
