Ishita Kishore is a graduate from Delhi University and the child of an Air Force officer, got all India first rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 . The 26-year young lady passed the renowned test on her third attempt. Ishita Kishore failed her preliminary exam on her first two attempts but cleared AIR -1 in 2022.

Ishita Kishore- Coaching and Preparation Tips for UPSC Aspirants
Ishita Kishore revealed that she used to devote approximately 9-10 hours daily to her studies and used to focus more on improving her weak areas to make them her strengths.
In the interview, she revealed that coaching for UPSC can be helpful in choosing a new optional subject.
For UPSC Prelims, Ishita Kishore followed many fundamental books mentioned above to prepare for UPSC Prelims. Ishita also relied on self-made notes from newspapers and focused on regular revision and this helped her with her daily current affairs for UPSC preparation. Talking about her role of coaching for UPSC she said, “While I did not take any coaching, but for my optional subject (Economic) I took mentoring.”
For UPSC Mains, Ishita Kishore has dedicated 40 to 45 hours per week for her studies.
Ishita Kishore recognized that the UPSC demands hard work and patience for success. Solving previous years question papers proved to be beneficial as it allowed her to understand the exam pattern and gain familiarity with the type of questions asked.
