Nausheen lives with her family in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and was brought up in Kushi (Padrauna), U.P. She initially studied at Ratna Public School in Gorakhpur. Nausheen completed her science studies at RAMPUS School in Rapti, Gorakhpur for her secondary education.
Nausheen moved to Delhi to enroll in the Bachelor of History program at Khalsa College, University of Delhi, and her father supported her ambition by giving her a solid foundation and she graduated with a B.A. in History (Hons) from SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, which brought home a gold medal, which demonstrated his determination to learn and drive to succeed in his professional journey through UPSC.

Nausheen’s UPSC Journey and Challenges
Nausheen, a 24-year-old, owes her success to the support of her entire family. Shee is the youngest of three siblings and started his studies in Gorakhpur. Her father believed in Nausheen’s future success and arranged to send her to Delhi for further studies. As a child, She studied so hard that he forgot to eat or drink, his mother said. Even after the family went to bed, she continued her studies, so they all supported and encouraged her during her UPSC journey.
Nausheen’s experience in UPSC reflects her dedication and perseverance as she faced setbacks in her many endeavors but remained determined, eventually securing All India Rank 9 in UPSC CSE 2023. She has chosen history as a subject of choice and wants to become an IAS, IPS, or IRS officer preferably in Uttar Pradesh or Bihar. She spends 12-13 hours of intelligent studying every day, focusing on strategies for the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
Attempts in UPSC 2023
In 2019, Nausheen passed the UPSC prelims but dropped out of the main exam due to Covid lockdown. Despite difficulties in her later attempts, she was unable to pass the third attempt, which left him depressed.
But her parents helped and encouraged him to endure. After four attempts, she final secured an All India Rank 9 in UPSC 2023, which served as a testament to the importance of perseverance.

Personal Life of IAS Nausheen
Nausheen started her educational journey at Ratna Primary School, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur. Nausheen’s father works as an assistant engineer in a public company and plays an important role in her own life by creating the right environment for her passage in the UPSC, while her mother looks after home as a housewife whose boss works in the Union Bank of India.
